Team Member, Corporate Support Services

  • To oversee the operations and the direct sales activities of the Corporate Support Services.
  • To manage effectively and efficiently service delivery to customers, from the onboarding process to claims
  • To ensure the growth and profitability of the Corporate Support Services team and supervise the management of all key relationships in these.

Role Qualification:

Academic/Professional: Relevant first degree in any discipline

Professional Qualification: MSc/MBA/ACII/ACIIN and basic knowledge of actuarial services will be an added advantage.

Work Experience: 4-6 years sales/operations experience in a Financial Services company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processes the documentations of all transaction and ensures the registration of all businesses on AIMS & other underwriting platforms.
  • Generating reports on performance, sales, market dynamics & trends for products within the portfolio in order to ensure profitability.
  • Preparation and defence of Tender Bids.
  • Raises debit note and endorsements for all transactions and follows up on payments on clients’ accounts.
  • Create a system that will ensure efficient working relationship with other sales team in other to meet the Company’s target.
  • Ensure regular interactions with the Claims team in other to ensure the continuous refining of our pricing, terms and conditions.
  • Scope the market and carry out detailed analysis of each sector managed with a view to growing the Corporate Support Services Team’s market share.
  • Supervises and drives the relationship management activities within the Team including the maintenance of the required level of relationship with Brokers.
  • Supervises reconciliation of customers’ accounts on a monthly basis and receivables management.
  • Gives risk improvement advice and solution to clients where necessary.
  • Prepare Brokers Commission as at when due.
  • Ensures regular quality assurance on all clients’ information on AIMS and other underwriting platforms.
  • Provides direction and leadership for the team.
  • Manages the relationships of key executives of large customers within the CSS space
  • Work with the Training team in the training and development of the Team’s personnel.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to members of the team.
  • Ensure all underwriting activities are done in line with AXA standards and in compliance with NAICOM’s guidelines.
  • Any other responsibilities that might be assigned by the Unit Head, Group Head Energy and Divisional Director from time to time.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • High level of initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Very good relationship management skills
  • Good knowledge of Non-Life and Life insurance products and services
