How to Access IMED Care
- Pick a hospital/provider using the link Provider Finder – Home (axaglobalhealthcare.com)
- Book an appointment with the hospital for the care to be received
- Send the details (name of hospital, doctor’s name, indication/diagnosis, date of appointment, email and phone number of enrollee) to internationalhealth@axamansard.com Cc ogochukwu.orji@axamansard.com at the latest, 1 week prior to the appointment
- Axa will issue a pre-authorization letter to you for this appointment. Please note we may call to verify/clarify certain details about the care/appointment.
- Proceed to the hospital to access care with the letter issued
- In an emergency, where the member needs to be rushed to the hospital, member can pay out of pocket and request for a full reimbursement for medically necessary treatment.
- The Hospital can also treat the enrollee and the invoice shared with us post care for claims processing.
- For care in the USA, we will also issue a US insurance card along with the pre-authorization letter
