AXA Mansard Health Limited, a subsidiary of AXA Mansard Insurance plc, has renewed its commitment to its customers and stakeholders, noting that the company will remain true to its purpose of acting for human progress by protecting what matters.
The company made this known at its 10th Anniversary reception and gala night organised to celebrate its customers and partners in Lagos recently.
Speaking at the event, Rashidat Adebisi, Chief Client Officer, AXA Mansard, said the gala is another in the series of events to recognise and celebrate the company’s stakeholders and give back to the industry and communities that have enabled its operations.
She further emphasized, “This celebration is not just about celebrating our strides. It is, more importantly, a renewal of our commitment to always put our customers first and remain responsible to all stakeholders who have reposed their trust in us”.
“It is equally to celebrate the challenges we overcame and the solutions we created with our customers and stakeholders. So, we are here tonight to celebrate you all for your abiding faith in us,” she added.
Adebisi, who acknowledged and commended the visionary and exemplary leadership of
Tope Adeniyi, the CEO of AXA Mansard Health Ltd and his team, said the team has relentlessly pushed the boundaries since inception, “and we’re here tonight because they didn’t give up,” she told the guests.
She said the anniversary theme, Wellvolution, is not just a play on words. She explained that it embodies how AXA Mansard intends to play in the next ten years and the company’s charge on how all players should approach the industry for a future of collective prosperity.
On his part, Tope Adeniyi, CEO of AXA Mansard Health Limited, said the success of AXA Mansard Health is a testament that a successful business can be built in Nigeria on the simple basis of service quality and integrity.
“Our growth has been based on high values and standards, and we are proud to say Nigerians and Nigeria have rewarded us accordingly.”
Adeniyi added that innovation has been the core of AXA Mansard Health since its inception. “That has seen us deliver many ‘firsts’ that have transformed the industry today. From the launch of the first chip-based card to being the first to simplify pre-booking and the first to pay claim within two weeks, changing the operating model of health insurance in Nigeria to customer first, provider next, and then, the operator”.
“Furthermore, we became the first to make roaming easy; we ended the archaic system by introducing technology to simplify enrolment, claim, and authorization – end-to-end. We were the first to launch an integrated local and international plan and the first HMO company to cross the 10bn, 20bn, and 30b naira revenue mark, respectively”.
“And when the pandemic hit, we were the first HMO to launch the first responder and telemedicine. It is essential to state that these many firsts we brought into the market were not just firsts-for-being-first sake. They were innovations midwifed by a deliberate commitment to listen to our customers, understand our providers, and create solutions that deliver collective benefits to everyone”.
He said these innovations, and more are why customers and providers have not just responded to make AXA Mansard Health No. 1; it is another reason they are evangelists of our brand and co-creators of the company’s future.
To appreciate its stakeholders, the company presented several awards and recognitions to its customers and stakeholders who have contributed to their success over the decade.
