Types of Marine Cover
Marine Hull
This policy provides cover for our customers ‘goods against loss of these goods when transported over water, land or by air. These losses can be both accidental and sometimes intentional. Our cover includes the full spectrum of risks from loss, damage and theft while in transit.
We cover all general cargo risks for individuals, manufacturers, traders, assemblers, retailers, distributors, project risks, including delay in start-up.
We also provide solutions for all customer groups – from smaller local and regional companies through to large, complex multinational corporations.
Marine Cargo
This provides cover for your vessels against all types of physical loss or damage to the hull and machinery which constitute the ship itself. This policy can be tailored to fit your need using various clauses and extensions.
We offer tailor-made insurance policies to all types of vessels including but not limited to:
- Crew/pleasure boats
- Container ships (a ship that is designed to carry goods stowed in containers)
- Supply vessels (a ship specially designed to supply offshore oil platforms)
- Dredgers (a vessel designed for dredging harbours or other bodies of water)
This coverage may apply for a specified period or a single voyage. The risks we cover include but is not limited to;
- Hull and Machinery Cover
- Protection and Indemnity Extension
- War, Strike, Riot or Civil Commotion
Claims Process
1. Download and fill out a claim form.
2. Submit the claim form along with the complete documentary requirements online to ccare@axamansard.com or to the nearest AXA Mansard Office.
3. AXA Mansard will confirm the approval of your request through e-mail or a call.
4. Claim will be settled and received via your preferred channel as indicated in the e-mail or call.
